Formula One

A complaint as old as Bukayo Saka

Watched through all the periods of domination for the last 30 years, have to say this is the most boring of the lot.

Hamilton merc dominance was annoying but at least he had teammates to give him a pretend battle.

Makes the Schumacher era look competitive.

There’s a cost cap now so each team can only spend around 150m on developing their car. This includes wages of engineers but not drivers.

Try telling Red Bull that

It’s worse than that, you have the FIA which seemingly randomly decides what is and isn’t cheating all of a sudden.

Based on which team cries the loudest.

Stroll in 3rd with Alonso in 4th.

How has Sergio Perez managed the make the most dominant car in F1 history look so bad?

First time stroll out qualified alonso all season aint it?

Haven’t watched so no idea how they’re up there all of a sudden but good to see. Need some smart strategy on sunday to have any chance at holding it.

Rain forced Q3 to end after one lap. They both got pretty luck to get that high up

Going backwards all day on Sunday then unless it rains again, both not bad in the wet.

Lol

EDIT: Sergio Perez is so annoying. Keeps on going deep into the corner rather than following Alonso’s line. Always loses time and that negates the DRS advantage down the straights

Perez isn’t good enough to be in the Red Bull. Max would have passed Alonso ages ago
and wouldn’t have lost the place back either!

Alonso’s race craft is just so much more superior to Perez.

Red Bull need to replace Perez. Huge difference between the two drivers.

Fernando the GOATTTT

The second DRS is so huge that it’s almost worth losing a place before the second detection zone so that you can commit the overtake later.

Instead, Perez gets out of shape defending his position and gets done down that straight. Fuck sake lad

Great racing but the difference in the line each driver takes is hugely significant and makes the difference.

Even in the lap Perez overtakes Alonso, Fernando yields into the first corner so that he can follow closely and potentially overtake him back into turn 4.

EDIT: Karun Chandhok literally saying this shit bar for bar with more race speak. Taking a higher line into turn 1 so that he can get a better drive into turn 4

Max is just a crazy talented driver

Alonso is still the best at attacking and defending, what a guy.

Personally I wouldn’t put him in the same league as Lewis or Max when it comes to attacking, but he is exceptionally good at defending, maybe better than the other two.

Just caught up on the replay, very good drive from leclerc and just a shame max was able to engineer himself another win despite being a slimy cunt.

5 second penalty for that initial move was a joke then how Russell got the pen for the second one was hilarious. Russell was ahead and on the racing line, max should’ve yielded.
