Hahaha what a legend

Didn’t even realise who she was. Fair play from Brundle

Never thought it’d be refreshing to see Hamilton on pole. No doubt Max will still win but at least Merc and McLaren finding that one lap pace to get close.

Aston Martin disappointingly fallen off the last few weeks.

After binging through two seasons of DTS. I watched the race today. Think I may start to follow this a bit now if I am not doing anything and its at a decent time.

Spa is an incredible track and one where a lot of skill is needed. I’ve watched a few races this season on and off and this is the first full one I’ve watched.
What a load of shite. I understand the need for safety, especially at a track like this but fuck me they’ve really made it so dull.

They really could take a leaf out of the WRC’s book here. Excellent cars, powerful, fast, great sounding, great to look at and still very interesting.
I know F1 has always attracted a certain kind of celebrity but fuck me, some of the drips you see walking the paddock these days just comfirms everything that’s a load of shite with it.

Most dominant car in F1 history. Will win every single race this season with no competition.

Car is dominant sure. As was Lewis’s for eons.

Max is dominant too. Dude been performing miracles when he had the shittier car compared to Lewis.

Max is an incredibly talented driver.

His personality is less incredible. :man_shrugging:t4:

Have stopped watching F1 cause the results are predictable, no matter what track or weather conditions. Was sick of watching Lewis win season after season and actually supported Max the season he won his first title (even though I am a Ferrari fan). And now it seems Max & RB are redefining ā€œdominationā€.

Not sure I’ll want to watch another season until there are at least 3 teams going into every race with equal chances of winning. Miss the days when any one of the Schumacher brothers, Barrichello, Hakkinen/Raikonnen, JPM, DC could win a race.

Have to agree. Max largely kept things interesting when Mercedes were dominating.

Without question. His personality leaves something to be desired from but good guys don’t win as much I guess.

Nobody will really disagree about how good max is, it’s just boring as fuck when he could start 20th and win because the car is so much better than the rest.

The fact he’s finishing 20 seconds ahead of his teammate shows the difference in their skill level.

Sergio Perez was given ample time to create a gap and only managed to get 2/3 seconds on second place smh

The FIA are a complete joke

From what I remember, he always does well on Spa and especially in the rain. I think I read somewhere it’s his favourite track.

As you said, same car as Perez yet completely dominates his teammate. Dude is a race monster

Jesus, Lewis

He’s not wrong though and I’m no Lewis fan boy.

Saw something yesterday about him maybe joining ferrari.

Is he wrong? Checo has never been a great driver. He was brought in because he occupies that narrow space of ā€œwon’t challenge Max but can still bring in a fair amount of pointsā€.

I don’t understand why Lewis is ā€œTHE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD!!!ā€ or ā€œHE WHINGES SO MUCH!!!ā€ for saying shit like this, but when Max does something fucking deplorable or whines and cries on the radio every race he’s ā€œless than desirableā€.

Both can be deplorable cunts.

No one is saying he’s wrong and a couple of posts up I pretty much share similarly disparaging thoughts. Sergio Perez has been awful but saying it out loud feels wrong.

Well the rain made it interesting for a couple of laps but max is catching his teammate at 2 seconds a lap :rofl:

Perez is garbage

Red Bull giving Verstappen the preferable strategy to Perez despite running second at the time. hmm
