Basically Ocon had not pitted yet so had to pit on the last lap (to adhere to tyre rules). The media are getting ready for end of race interviews prematurely because the leaders are about to cross the chequered flag, without realising a car is yet to pit.
Whoever is in charge of directing this shit is getting fired.

This has to be one of the worst safety breaches at a F1 race. As you say, someone is getting fired over this.
