I think I’ll start with this

Salah going to score a hat trick GW1 and everyone will have to wildcard.

Draft 5:

My first Salah draft. It’s actually a lot better than I thought it would be with all that money spent on the premiums

How do we feel about Foden? Do we think he fouls foul of Pep roulette?

Feel like he must be a nailed starter at this point with them losing Jesus and Sterling

I don’t use any city mids. Not worth it :joy:

Cancelo and Haaland for me

Key player who plays all the big games and with Sterling out the door I think he’ll get even more burn.

One of the few City mids I’d consider

That’s what I’m thinking as well. I’ve gone a bit rogue with my team

This will probably change a fair bit still but feel like it looks ok.

Tempted by Eriksen at 6.5 and upgrading Foden but think I’ll stay away from him for now.

TAA is an absolute must have. Whenever he bangs you will destroy your rank :joy:

Don’t have him in my team atm, I think you can do without at least for a while.

Yeah I figured but my problem is that EVERYONE all have the same players.

Think im just going to try and differentiate.

Haaland 64%, Jesus 50%, Diaz 33% etc.

It’s madness, everyone will just have the same team.

But there’s always enormous risk at getting left behind in that case.

I’ll probably end up with TAA and Haaland come GW1 lol

I’m trying to be like Bayern and make this the Bayernliga, I can’t reveal that yet :stuck_out_tongue:

@Cristo exactly gotta have a few different picks in there otherwise where’s the fun and if they bang you’re laughing

I agree to some extent (and picking different players certainly makes it more fun), but you can differentiate your team with even 1 or 2 different players, and particularly when the (effectively 3) sets of wildcards come around. The likelihood of a top finish while avoiding the big picks is astronomically small in today’s FPL world unfortunately

I’ve had Foden, as well as Man City midfielders like Gundagon, Mahrez and Bernado but as @Calum says, it’s not always worth it.
They’re relatively cheap and get points but they might also just come on at the end of a game.

The almost guaranteed starters will be DeBruyne, Ederson, Cancelo and Haaland.
I think Haaland will overtake Salah as most people’s big player.

Last season he played 60+mins in 28 out of 33 PL games (excluding those where he was injured/coming back from injury start of the season).
Which for a midfielder/forward in a Pep team is about as nailed on as you get, particularly with the extra fixture congestion last season.

This season there’s no Sterling or Jesus, (although both were arguably squad players), but you’ve got Haaland who will probably start the vast majority of games.

So excluding no other changes, and considering last season, you’d expect him to be a safe bet. But need to remember they still have Grealish, Mahrez, Silva, Alvarez competing for the wing slots. (Although potentially Foden and Silva will also fill in at CM, and Alvarez could be cover for CF.

I’m backing him for now but will be worried if they bring in anyone else who can play on the wing

Oooh Lingaard at 6.0 and Watford potentially adding Dennis up front as well.

Very interesting

Lingard could be a decent option at Forest, as you’d expect most of the attacks will go through him.

You can’t have all the players you know

I am trying my absolute damndest lol
