You’re clearly on the ball

Here’s what I’ve got - it’s pretty rogue I know but I’ve got 3.0 itb so it’ll be easy for me to upgrade Darwin to Haaland or Kane.

I’m actually not 100% on Darwin so will likely still change him.

I will keep Martinelli for the first few weeks as I think he might really be enabled by having Jesus in the team, and then switch him out for potentially Lingaard once their fixtures ease up.

Want to see how Sancho does as well otherwise tempted to put Rashford in as he’s 1.0 cheaper but they’ve both looked sharp in pre-season.

I’m still gonna keep tinkering and I don’t see myself stick with the defence I currently have.

Jesus is currently the most selected player in the game. I was surprised to see Salah is in 56% of teams though. A lot of teams I have seen don’t have him in :woman_shrugging:

I don’t have Salah. We’ll see how he performs during the Community Shield, but I’ve gone for Son, Kane, and Haaland atm.

I think a lot of people have avoided Salah because his form wasn’t great at the end of last season and Mane has left so players like Haaland, Kane, Son, KDB, etc are better value.

I’m still not sure about picking Chelsea players.
Sterling is quite expensive for 10m but they’ve got Havertz upfront at 8m and James in defence for 6m looks decent value.

I’ve gone for Son and Haaland but I can’t afford both them and Kane.
Son has regularly got points and this season he could be even better.

I’ve gone Son and Haaland too. And I have James.

Though, you had quite a bad second half of the season, so perhaps I should do the opposite of what you do

Rogue indeed haha

If it bangs you’re flying up the table but if not then that’s a big ol’ dose of max pain lol

And who the hell is Matthews? Is Butland not their reserve keeper any more?

Yeah exactly, high risk high reward. It is what it is, but I’ve tried playing it safe in the past and it didn’t really get me anywhere. Fully expecting this to flop but we’ll see.

Pretty good chance I downgrade KDB though and upgrade Darwin to Kane as I’m not sure on KDB and Pep Roulette or Darwin hitting the ground running.

My strategy this year is to basically pick every player I want to perform poorly.

Every year, I end up selecting players I want to perform well and then am left disapointed when they don’t. Then when I drop the player, they seem to perform again, so by that logic, I am excluding all Arsenal players and including as many Chavski, Spuds & Pool players as I can afford

So many ways you can approach it this season, I’m really considering no Salah as well.

Also with having what amounts to 3 wildcards you can scrap it early if it goes tits up lol

It was the other way round and the first half of the season my team was useless.
After my FF account was hacked I changed the team and top scored in a couple of game weeks and was usually in the top four. :grinning:

I’m tempted by Richarlison for 8m but I’m going to avoid any Man City midfielders.
I know I say it every season but Guardiola and his constant rotation is too much, although Rodri for 6m might be worth a punt.

Imagine even thinking about putting Cedric in your team! Neto is a good shout though, he’s in my current starting XI - Wolves have a good first game too.

It’s not a bad team other than Cedric as you say, but I won’t be taking a risk on Everton’s defence regardless of Mykolenko’s attacking output potential.

I’d have Zaha in my team if the fixtures were better

Draft 4 did one early on my pc and forgot to save it

So this is the one I been working on my night shift.

Possible swap one off the GK for Leno once he’s confirmed he’s off to Fulham.

White is the one I am worried about. I have White. But people seem to think Saliba > White. And even if White is RB, he’ll just be filling in:

Yeah I think white will start at RB for the season but I think it be white/gabs partnership and Sab to rotate in the league. Saliba main game time will cup games and off the bench for the league.

That’s my thinking anyway.

Arsenal had a great clean sheet record with Gabriel, White, Tomi last season, and I don’t see Saliba upsetting that in his first season in the prem, (excluding normal rotation). At least for the start of the season anyway.

With the extra wildcard there should be any issues with his gametime before you play your first one

So this is what I currently have
