Haaland reminds me more of a wide receiver, insane numbers but dependent on the system to suit him and service.
Mbappe is a quarterback. He is the system, can create for others and score.
I don’t think it’s even a question who the better all around footballer is. We just have to hope John Conner shows up soon to rescue us from that fucking ponytail cyborg.
Haaland is still young and should develop some semblance of a good overall game, he’s very intelligent and his technical ability is underrated IMO
You can’t necessarily have everything at such an age, he has the goal scoring ability that is above a generational level and can’t be taught.
I like to see development even in elite talent, I think he’ll round out nicely with time.

Exactly, and its funny to say but I don’t even think this City team is fully optimised for him despite his ridiculous goal scoring.
Imagine him in that City team with peak Sane and Sterling on both flanks? This City team lacks genuine width which puts even more focus on him and limits the team as an attacking unit to a degree.

Yeah definitely, when it clicks they are the best in business but at times they just don’t have that potency and it stems from a lack of other killers out wide with that dynamic movement and ability to truly stretch teams.
