Tbf, Buendia should get some blame for the Argentina incident.
He put his national team, which he hasn’t even featured for yet, above his club.
Maybe it was supposed to earn him some loyalty points? Well, it definitely didn’t work as he’s not been called up since and he’s now getting overlooked by guys playing in South America.
That was throwback performance from Buendia. Guy has eyes everywhere.

It’s the same logic as non-penalty goals.
It’s different for me. Penalties I think result in goals something like 4 out of every 5 times, set pieces resulting in a chance/big chance are much more rare than that and it’s why set price takers are often specialists.
