Nice.
Payment cycle has absolutely nothing to do with financial fair play rules. Unless weāre at the point where interest calculations on additional debt are taking us over. Which I highly doubt heās referring too.

Due balla de pistacchio Per favore
Mmmm che buono adesso ho una fame da morti
Ffs as if I bothered translating that just to find out Cristoās balls are green like pistachios this morning and Jesse finds them delicious.
It must be.
If Eze payment of 60m is spread across 3 years (2025, 26, 27) as opposed to all upfront in 2025
When you calculate the accounting at the end of 2025-26 season, one sheet would have 20m as cost and another would would have 60m.
Your P&L is the same same in either case
Your balance sheet and cash flow statement would be different.
Financial FairPlay is based on a clubs P&L.
If the cost differ, how can P&L be the same?
Is Amortization work the same way?
In both cases the total cost is the same 60mill and the amortisation (which is a P&L line) is also the same.
If I had a Great British Pound for every time you change your picture Iād be able to buy Arsenal lol

In both cases the total cost is the same 60mill
I donāt think that is true
Turns out I am wrong. Upfront payment is also amortized. Hmm interesting
So I guess the only benefit of upfront payment is less amount to be paid and lesser addons
Isnt it based on a 3 year period? So one or more payments falls outside that?
We need to push all these transfers mate! We need to do the work too!
I donāt like this. Itās what needs to be done.
(Btw needles too say, every positive Eze rumour link is more than welcome these days, ANY source, until we have him! Iām counting on you @Bl1nk @Mr_Nostalgia )

Isnt it based on a 3 year period? So one or more payments falls outside that?
That would be true for the amortisation amount. (Total amount divided by contract length)

Howās your Italian pronunciation?
Notwithstanding my Italian heritage, it could be better! It is funny listening to Fabrizio saying Hugo Ekitike though
Whose hairline did it better⦠Gervinho or this guy
Correct, regardless it is spread across 5 years given the new ruling limiting to that.
Itās why youāll rarely see a new player sign a 4 year deal or less now, thereās just no point for the club to not offer 5, to help with ffp/psr.
When they renew I think you can spread the remainder over the life of the new deal (again up to 5) but I am not 100% sure.
There is no way Arsenal activate a nearly £70m release clause for Eze.
In fact, I donāt think the fee theyāll even negotiate will even rise up to that.
