Juventus will try to negotiate a loan + obligation to buy in 2 years time. Good luck with that
Check the other transfers thread. They’re trying to do a swap deal with McKennie(who Villa are interested in).
This is probably the craziest deal of the summer if it happens.
Reminds of that shady Pjanic-Melo deal.
It always makes me laugh when it’s reported clubs have agreed terms with the player before the club’s because it doesnt mean shit
Also, when did tapping up rules become defunct?
McKennie is an ideal Emery midfielder imo. Lots and lots and lots of running.
That’s true. Unai loves those guys who are good all around but excel at nothing.
He’s been weirdly good in the air for the USA. Not that he’s some heading specialist or anything.
I don’t even think he’s a guaranteed starter for the US anymore.

(Great timing)
Case in point.
Hmmm Luiz out and Gallagher in is a slight downgrade
Doesn’t seem like Chelsea can keep him even if they wanted to
Chalobah will likely also be gone replaced by Adarabioyo
I reckon they consider it an upgrade.
Juventus are a huge club steeped in history, but are they really a more attractive proposition than Villa at the moment? Weird move.
He can win Scudetto with Juventus which is a legit trophy to have in your resume.
Yes, lol.
I reckon Motta has also gotten into his ear as well.
Juve are low-key cooking at the minute. They seem to be loaded again, they’ve got one of the best young coaches in the game and their reported targets are really exciting.
Juve finished 3rd last season. It’s not like they’re a historic club that’s midtable now. 2022/23 was a one off where they finished 7th or 8th. Finished 4th two seasons prior that and won the title for 8-9 seasons straight before that. Villa reached the CL just once this season. And there’s a real possibility they may not sustain that. Juve are still an astronomically more attractive club than Aston Villa.
I’ve always liked Connor Gallagher.
Matteo Guendouzi
He’s one of the players they’ve been linked with. In fact, I think Matteo’s agent even confirmed the interest.
Gallagher is mad limited
Grinder but yeah he ain’t doing much with the ball
Just like Emery likes 'em.
I disagree. What are his limitations in your opinion?
