Look at me I am Bavin. I have no opinion of my own. I am only here to contradict others.
I have my own personality
āYour opinion is cringe, itās non-sense.ā
āWhat is my opinion, did you ask?ā
crickets
You are the one pressing for specific actions to be taken, is it not reasonable to expect some solid justification?
My opinion is irrelevant to whether or not the basis for another personās argument is valid.
Sums up your entire OA history.
I have no opinion, I am only here to invalid otherās

Just leaving this here
Christā¦Artetaās created a monster problem with this, hasnāt he?
So, STATISTICALLY, Rambo is better?
Itās not that surprising considering his performance. Itās rare to shit your pants one time in public, he managed to do it twice in one match!
People acting like Ramsdale didnāt almost gift Brentford a goal (saved by Rice goal line clearance) and then throwing the ball into the ground like a lunatic.
The difference between the two is small. Suddenly picking Ramsdale wonāt give us a massive uplift in performance.
It was strange to sign Raya in the first place for marginal gain. But here we are. I maintain he is the better GK though, particularly for the way we want to play.
Yeah.
What marginal improvement we obtained via his better ball playing, if any, is very easily negated by his flappyness in goal.
Lol so what exactly are these ratings? A compilation of ratings submitted by fans?
Yeah itās ratings submitted by fans Iām pretty sure lolā¦
Because statistically speaking despite not having a great season so far Rayaās goal prevention according to the metrics is still a little better than Ramsdaleās this season.
I think you should compare Raya to Ramsdaleās last season, no? Or even his first season if you like.
Hard to draw too much from these 2-3 games he played before he got benched, and Iām not even taking that Brentford game into account considering how much time he spent without competitive football before it. Even if you take it doesnāt make any difference, itās only 4 games.
Raya goal prevention this season is similar to Ramsdaleās last season Iām pretty sure, be like splitting hairs trying to find a difference.
People seem happy enough to have definitive conclusions drawn on Raya despite only playing 15 games in a new side with different playstyle and expectations.
If you want to exclude on the above basis then itās easy enough to make an argument that we should exclude a chunk of Rayaās games thus far too.
I love Ramsdale but just donāt see any glaring reason as to why him coming back in is going to be a huge difference maker. Likewise, Iād be interested to see Raya afer roughly half a season at which point itās harder to make an argument about any bedding-in issues.
I feel like we have a decent enough sample size for Ramsdale whereas we donāt quite have that for Raya yet and heās certainly looked more comfortable on the ball lately which was an issue early on.
Weirdly enough, heās looked less comfortable with crosses and high balls which many commented were an apparent strong point through his first few games.
15 games really isnāt a huge run in the side, all thibgs considered and within the context of 50 or so games a season. At 25 to 30 I think we are more in that zone.
Ah is Bavin still dissecting statements & building semantics instead of stating an opinion, is he?
Someone please make a claim that Ramsdale is taller than Raya just to see if Bavin conjures up a new scenario where Raya is taller.
Ah poor thing, now semantics game with @BigWeng_4LYFE wonāt work out for ya, will it mate?
Come on son, ya couldnāt even last a full week having me blocked.
The post count bugs me to no ends. I donāt hate you so much to tolerate OCD
Sure Ramsdale fucked up on some occasions during the run-in but given the form of the team at the time, he was easily one of our better performers.
Liverpool game could have ended much worse. City could have embarrassed us even further. He was massive in our win against Newcastle.
