Arteta should just get Ramsdale back in the goal to save our season, and swallow his mistake.
Send Raya back to Brendford in the summer and go for another keeper, an actual world class one this time, if he’s really so desperate to upgrade Rambo.

If Raya keeps this tempo of mistakes it will be nearly impossible to do that.
Ramsdale screwed up down the stretch in two huge games namely West Ham and Southampton, he contributed to the downward spiral there’s no doubt about that.
I don’t know. He hasn’t played enough games this season to draw that conclusion.
Can’t remember what he did against West Ham?
The first goal was about Partey and Gabriel fuck up, can’t remember the second one.
The only real mistake that has cost us last season was Southampton as far as I remember.
While he got us the 3 points against Spurs, the point against Liverpool, a few other games I can’t remember now.

It’s not a glaring keeping mistake, He could have done better with Bowen’s goal at the near post, but it was an unusual bounced finish which could bamboozle most keepers.
I rather place more blame on Saka for not scoring his penalty.

When it came down to it in the final stretch he was found wanting, that’s a save he has to make IMO
He saved us during the season definitely but when it was all on the line he didn’t get it done in key moments as well
Fine, small margins make a lot of difference but I would argue Allison & Ederson have made 4-5 goal conceding mistakes in their title-winning seasons as well. They just don’t get highlighted because it didn’t cost their chances.
You can say that but I’d question when they were made, are they making those errors in the final stretch where every game is do or die?

We need to get rid of both in Summer… and look for a proper worldclass keeper. Raya being shocking doesnt make Ramsdale any better.

I had to see a few replays to check out did Ramsdale do something before the goal… Miskicked the ball or something, to see his fault.
Would have taken a absolute world class save to save that. Bouncing in front of him (the most important part), a great wolley from Bowen. Pretty close range too.
I’d say it’s impossible to save that one.
Absolutely ridiculous to highlight that as his error.
Rambo was one of the worst shot saving keepers in the league statistically last year. And then there’s his downward spiral in possession play.
He makes highlight saves but also concedes a lot of soft goals due to poor positioning or poor reading of the shooter’s body. The KDB goal that immediately put us behind and Rashford’s goal this year are two examples.
Rays has obviously made a concerning number of errors, which he wasn’t known for at Brentford. He may just not have what it takes mentally to play for a big club. But I don’t think Arteta will give up on him anytime soon.
If we do sell ramsdale in January then I have wondered if De Gea could be a possibility. He’d surely jump at the chance given his current situation.
Degea even now is miles better than combine of both
