Seeing the percentage of accurate passes/long balls would be much better.
Brentford have to defend much more than we do and are spending more time on their half so Raya is on the ball much more often than Rambo and has more opportunity to make more passes.
Not surprised at all that we are going for this one. Ramsdale has a mistake in his locker and on several occasions has been in situations where he could have done better with goals conceded.
Competition is always healthy.

Much better than Ramsdale when it comes to long distance passes. For shorter distances he’s no better than Ramsdale.
One thing evident in pre season games has been ramsdale attempting the long diagonal a lot more rather then solely playing out from the back. Seems it’s a dimension of the game arteta wants to be able to utilise more.

A top club should have two decent keepers. At the moment we only have one, as Turner is MLS quality at best. Would be a good move for the club on it’s journey to build a competitive squad.

Who is the City backup keeper? Who backed up Allison when Liverpool won stuff? Who is Madrid’s? I understand that line of thinking but we’ve seen plenty of clubs operating at a high level without insane keeper depth.

This isn’t a good sunday at Ramsdale’s, I can’t see Raya coming here to be a sub, has to be for the number 1 spot.
Perhaps but the clubs you mentioned have first choice keepers of absolutely unimpeachable quality. Ramsdale is great, but not consistently top quality. Therefore some depth would be welcome.
They don’t really have one. At least not one that is anywhere near the same level as Ederson.
Ramsdale needs some serious competition. Possibly dropping as he is getting way too cocky and over confident. Almost needs some Cloughie type man management .
Raya will make Ramsdale think twice about some of his performances.
