@sevchenko that’s not a project its a wasteland IMO, serious undertaking there especially with all the players they’ve just let go and it’s not like they splash the cash.

He left Wolves by mutual consent so the sacking might have been on the horizon. This summer seems a good time to find a new job, if he’d waited, had a poor start and got the shove in October he could have been left scratching himself for months.

Possibly but failing or floundering at Palace does nothing for his rep though.
At Wolves he did well and had the Jimenez injury and Jota sale as reasons for a decline, fair enough if he wants to go there for a cheque but it isn’t a good landing spot and thats the point I’m making especially as it could sour other PL clubs on him.

Palace kept Hodgson a season to long and this looks doomed for me
Grown old together and stale if they make a poor start they will go next season.
Howe would of been a safer and easier fit for them and the fans.
Don’t see his way of playing and purchasing working at this club.

Probably end up with one of those Watford ten a penny types now.
Palace need to be very careful as they are past their peak now and could fall pretty quickly if they get this wrong.
