If it means United donāt sign a CM then I think it absolutely blows up in their face and is basically just a reversion to the immediate post-Fergie days of doing stupid shit for PR reasons. Ronaldo isnāt Falcao but he just doesnāt make sense for them whatsoever on the field, its a move almost purely driven by off-the-field considerations.
This could turn out to be a so so deal for United, might not work out how some think.
