Cristiano Ronaldo

Agreed, he could get 40 goals easily in France with how much pag shit on the rest of the league financially.

Atleast he has to go against teams with actual defences here. Highly physical and competitive league. Where the league title isn’t guaranteed. Hopefully he does well.

I’d rather see City win the title again than Chelsea. All City’s accomplishments come with a massive asterisk anyway.

And anything that twists the knife into United is always good.

Just need Mbappe to Madrid and it really would’ve been a crazy month in the transfer market

Yep.

Total cunt club

I’m sure he’s told Schmeichel that to his face before.l

At least it will only be weirdo Americans that will argue he is better than Messi now (along with his stans).

The Man United fans will also now leave that embarrassing position.

Good move for both parties, the only thing city lack is someone to knock goals at a high clip and that’s something Ronaldo is still elite at.

Raheem Sterling could leave Man City if right bid arrives.

Bring him home!

That’s a big gamble letting Sterling go for Ronaldo and a bit strange all round.

Something clearly going on between Pep and Sterling. Seems a crazy move

Nothing strange about it when you consider who the coach is. :grimacing::hocho:

I don’t think it is tbh, Sterling is replaceable IMO

Ronaldo in for a year or two and Haaland next season with Grealish playing on the left could be fine.

Sterling in the past two seasons has regressed with regard to his club form

As good as sterling is if you have to sacrifice him to sign Ronaldo then you do so.

What people will realise is that CR7 doesn’t add goals to this City team, he’ll just extract them from other players. The same thing happened at Juventus and later Real Madrid. He is a ridiculous goal scorer but it comes at the cost of players around him getting goals.

Only by his high standards. Loads of talent and more better seasons left in him.
No guarantee on Haaland going to city either. Also sets a bit of upset in that squad all this. Losing an injury prone Aguero for an ageing Ronaldo and adjusting the set up around him, could well go wrong.

Without Sterling who do they have that can threaten to run behind a defense? I realize Pep ball has its own logic but you still need to have somebody on the field with that kind of threat.
