Not sure what point you are making. I gave a pretty good reason as to why someone might choose not to play for a “top club”.
Everybody lies or makes statements that are inconsistent with others. He could want to do one thing and also want to do another to a lesser degree. The world isn’t as black and white as you seem to want to imply lol
