Cesc Fabregas

Cesc and Rooney are probably the two best at 17 and 18 that I’ve seen in the EPL.

This is partly why I want to see Nwaneri being given some game time in the first team, I think he’d be able to rise to the occasion if trusted.

Decent start to his managerial career

Cesc Fabregas, football manager. Watched him make his debut as a child pretty much :sob:

He is aging terribly

Future Arsenal manager in the making?

Why doesn’t he shave his neck beard?

Cesc needs to embrace the bald and become the Pep who he was meant to be.

You think so? Obviously went to Turkey to boost that hairline but slap some Just For Men in there and hit up a barber shop to fix that very poor effort of a beard and he’s smooth sailing imo.

That season sucked. United and Chelsea did the double over us. Was the start of us getting beaten up all the time by big opponents.

Which of those players from that year (2010), would you take into our squad now?

Right now, I’d bite your hand off for the following:

Defence: Sagna, Koscielny
Midfield: Cesc, Song, Jack
Attack: Walcott, RVP, Nasri

Not that they’d all start in our current lineup, but here’s who I’d swap from our current team based on form:

  • Nasri > Martinelli
  • Theo > Nelson or Martinelli
  • RVP > Nketiah and maybe even Jesus depending on opp
  • Cesc > Odegaard (sorry, or I’d play Ode in the #8)
  • Song > Partey (when he inevitably gets injured)
  • Sanga > White
  • Koscielny > Kiwior

I guess one could dream.

I hope you do mean this only from a fitness POV.

Cesc, RVP and Sagna.

Play Benny white at left back, Cesc in for Kai and RVP up top. PL and CL champs.

Agreed.

Never in a million years is Song better than Partey.

I loved Sanga but no way. White can do anything he did at the back and has much more going forward.

Good call. Although one of them played 350 games for us and the other has played about 350 minutes.

Walcott over Martinelli is very debatable. For starters Walcott was frustrating for about 6 seasons.
