Looks like there will be a bit of a game of chicken up until around transfer deadline day for Melo, Juve looking to get the best deal they can get, hoping to force Arsenal’s hand for an obligation to buy. Maybe the compromise will end up as an obligation to buy triggered by minimum appearances and whatnot. I agree though, we weren’t in for Bruno Guimaraes, and still are focusing on Arthur Melo.
