I’m glad you at least agree most black voters vote for parties that at least promise some degree of redistribution of income and are in favour of greater worker’s rights and higher minimum wage. All of which could be seen as marxist inspired socialist policies.

Everyone’s talks about redistribution of wealth but who’s wealth? And how come those who take about it the most don’t give away they money? A full implementation of the Marxist socioeconomic model has never been adopted as it doesn’t work like other socialist socioeconomic models never work. In modern society it’d be a wealth tax on billionaires who all benefit from the workers in society who contribute to their wealth. Multi-millionaires could also be taxed a lesser wealth tax

A welfare state is not one step closer to workers owning the means of the production (one of many definitions of socialism) nor is it a goal towards communism.

There was apparently some controversy over the name back in the day when it was unveiled. I’ll admit that I always thought the rangers the name referenced were more like park rangers.
