Well yeah take the point about football. Can also see this in other matters such as tax evasion without any repercussions imposed on top names in the game. Messi, CR7, Mourinhio and an overall silence of fans in general.
Okay leave it there otherwise its to far off topic I guess.
One thing I am proud to see is the sheer number of people starting to involve themselves in the movement. Iâm seeing prominent non-black celebrities across the board involving themselves now and trying to raise the awareness of the issue.
Iâll be at the marches this weekend and hopefully theyâre loud enough and well attended enough to make a difference.
What is this issue in this? I have heard no criticism from anybody but you lol. The getting down on one knee is a very well publicised show of defiance against white supremacy and in support of the BLM movement
From who lol? I literally havenât seen it anywhere and if it does exist it surely has to be less than 1% of the people with any kind of opinion on Liverpoolâs stance.
I love what the Liverpool players done and long may it continue.
If youâre typing to reply to my posts, which I hope youâre not, donât bother. I donât care for what you have to say and I expressly said above I donât wish to engage with you.
A peaceful protest or even a violent protest will not bear fruit if there is no end goal to achieve.
First frame the goals to achieve at the end of these protests.
What are the short term goals?
Justice to Floyd & Armaury
What are the mid term goals?
More funding to black community school
What are the long term goals?

There is no organization in these protest and lot of chaos. You are asking people guilty of a systematic racism in the system to frame a counter to it.
Itâs difficult.
If there is an outline, every black person can demand it and that helps a peaceful protest.
Itâs election period and it helps to give the representatives something to work with.
Give them someting vague and they will put one person behind bars and go about their lives with no modifications.
If you would actually follow this stuff you would know that it is well organised. There are other factors/people outside of the âBLM movementâ (to use an umbrella term) agitating creating chaos.
Stop commenting on stuff you are clearly not well-informed about.
It would be interesting to know if the unrest would have gone this far if all the officers were taken into custody initially and the main officer was charged with a more serious offence than third degree murder straight away.
Itâs bad that black people die at the hands of the police and thatâs going to cause a lot of upset, but the sense of injustice is made many times worse when the police close ranks to protect their own and then dress these cases up as lawful killings because the police report ends up saying the perpetrator said they had a weapon, they were running away, acting suspiciously, intoxicated etc.
