What’s your general thoughts on corporate brands involving themselves in social matters?

Genuinely asking

It is a bit fake and jumping on the bandwagon. Brands have to appeal to the majority of people so their products get bought.

But I guess it’s encouraging that brands feel this kind of messages is what appeals to the majority, maybe indicates progress?
