Dors Sesko offer anything that Gyokeres doesn’t? Other than being slightly taller.
Aerially Sesko is better, and there’s even room for improvement for him on that.
21 y/o too. 22 in May so has his best years ahead. I’m optimistic about Sesko.
While the whole squad are in their peak years in coming season, our leading man would still be in learning phase. and when he reaches his peak years, other won’t be.
The story of being one or two players short of success continues.
Okay, am convinced, Gyokeres over Sesko. Let’s do it.
Wait, I forget, we don’t operate like that. So Havertz it is then.
Benjy Sezzo leading line, I cannot wait.
Benji, Sax and the Slovenian prince
Still hasn’t signed?! Ffs…
I saw it somewhere here but regarding Rose saying Sesko is staying:

Doesn’t sound like his word matters much.
He only says it to drive the price up. It’s standard negotiation stuff.
Arsenal retain an interest in Red Bull Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko but a deal to sign the Slovenia striker is increasingly unlikely this month.
The Gunners are in the market for a new forward and Sesko is among their preferred options. But Red Bull are adamant the 21-year-old hotshot is not for sale and the Gunners are being respectful of the Bundesliga club’s stance this month.
Mail Sport understands there are currently no formal club-to-club talks discussions over Sesko and it now remains to be seen whether that changes in the final 11 days of the window.
The return to fitness of Ethan Nwaneri may also impact the club’s intentions to strengthen in forward areas this month. The highly rated youngster missed nearly four weeks through injury but returned to action off the bench in the 3-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday night.
Arsenal remain open to adding to the squad this month but would prefer any permanent deal to be one of their long-term targets.
A loan from an overseas league could be an option for them in the closing stages of the window.
Meanwhile, defender Ben White is closing in on a return to availability following knee surgery in November. The versatile full back is now back training on the grass at the club’s London Colney training centre and is close to making his long-awaited return.
Our long term targets are? Sesko and Williams? Anyone else?
Who do you reckon we get on loan if the long term targets are not available? Osimhen? Vlahovic?
Sounds like… Red Bullshit.
Honestly mate, I’ve got no clue. I don’t know who’s out there that’s actually good enough to contribute and would be available on a loan(without us committing to them long-term).
Any that I know of are PL and we’ve already hit that limit unless we work something out with Neto.
This is the best way to do business because not getting who you really want means getting a player who is adequate rather than the game changer we need.
Waiting to get quality like Gyokeres is much better than panic buying Cunha in this window.
Absolutely the right approach.
Unlike Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City, we have smaller resources and can’t afford to take a gamble for £100m or end up paying inflated fees in January because of a bidding war.
We’ve got Zubimendi hopefully. One of Gyokeres or Sesko will be joining in the summer and we’ll also buy a new left back. That’s all part of the long-term plan.
Our priority should be keeping Jorginho, getting temporary cover up front then getting to work on our summer business so that on 1st July we can announce some exciting signings before pre-season starts.
This isn’t to happen in January. His value can only go up between now and the summer and they have a Champions League spot to fight for. They would be mad to sell now.
We have owners who could literally buy us anyone we want though
but cant because they will breach rules
