No mate can’t agree. Even in our pomp under Wenger beating them was always a highlight.
But beating them and finishing out of Top 4 wouldn’t have made up for missing out on CL qualification, right? I think expectations for this season, regardless of “rebuild”, “project”, or whatever should be EL qualification, regardless of competition with Spuds.
Yeah fine but it’s likely you have to out perform them to get one of them places going by past seasons form.
The amount of needless analysis over a big win.
A win is a win.
When we lose, you guys don’t go around arguing the possibility of us converting our missed chances and how it could have been a draw or a win, do we?
Enjoy the god damn win.
We will lose a plenty for us to moan another day.
Wasn’t moaning it was merely an observation I didn’t realise at the time because I was so hyped.
And yes the possibility of converting missed chances is heavily discussed. No idea where you’re getting that from.
The amount of needless posts over an observation is staggering
Fully on board with this and very happy with the win, and for Saka and ESR. The only point being made really is we had no consistency last season and dropped a massive amount of points against mid table and lower half teams. The same again this season won’t be acceptable, just like the PL wins against Chelsea last season did not justify Mikel keeping his job. Anyway, things looking good, new signings look decent and Gabriel alongside Ben White looks promising also.
Lol! The agenda continues!
We lost 1 nil in the 2nd half? You can’t be serious buddy. So how does this work? We get 3 points for the 1st half and they get 3 for the 2nd but then we take an extra point on goal difference?
Kane’s chance was miles offisde by the way.
We missed chances in the 2nd half as well. Wasn’t one way street as your agenda wants it to be.
And the game wasn’t won solely on individuals’ brilliance. The manager played a huge part in it.
I agree with this.
Brighton will be somewhat of an acid test. As @Aussiegooner said, the top 4 are a way away. Arsenal have to prove they’re better than the rest (I don’t think they are) and Saturday will go some way to proving the doubters wrong.
It’s not an agenda…The win against the Spuds was quite fantastic, but, they were DREADFUL, and until we have played consistently like that for several games, then Arteta STILL has a lot to prove…He has done far more wrong, than he has got right…so far…
Until then, he still has to show he deserves our job…Up to now, he hasn’t done that, but hey, let’s hope he rises to the occasion…
Love to beat our rivals but she does have a point here. Acting like we’ve won the league…this is usually spurs mentality not ours. A shame that Mikel has dragged the club down this far
I’d have to be seeing champagne to equate it to acting like we’d won the league tbh.
It’s an internal photo-op.
God forbid we celebrate beating our rivals in the derby. Had they won, they’d already be pressing the DVD’s of their historic win.
Can tell she’s a Spurs fan, she has no idea what winning the league looks like.
That’s just a dressing room photo, Liz.
I’m surprised Spurs haven’t set up their own streaming service yet

Worst Spurs team in ten years and this lot think they’ve won the league
The hypocrisy of a spurs supporter criticising our players for celebrating after thrashing them.
She obviously forgot spurs celebrating and releasing DVD’s of them “putting the pressure on,” while we were winning PL titles, FA Cups, playing some of the best football in Europe and consistently finishing above them.
I don’t know who’s more upset about Sunday’s win, the Spurs fans or some contingents of our fan base, either way I’m having a lot of fun.
Weren’t spurs supporters fucking taking screenshots of the table 3 games in when they were top of the table and bottom?
And now these clowns are calling themselves the worst they have been in 10 years just to down play our W
It’s a rather backwards turn of events.
Over the past 5 years or so, we’ve been our weakest in probably 25-30 years. And yet we still won more than Spurs, and only finished a handful of points behind them most seasons.
And yet this has been a golden period for Spurs, they’re enjoying their best spell in probably 50 years. That’s the joke right there.
So for some random cunt Spurs fan to spin the situation to sound like it’s their weakest team for 10 years and to pronounce us the small time club…my mind can’t compute that.
