We just have keep doing what we have been this year and the results will take care of themselves. Like Mikel says, we have to earn the right to win. What we’ve done so far doesn’t matter, each game is a new challenge and we have to treat it that way, and this team has done that for most of the season. Just more of the same please.

think if we score more goals than Luton, then we have every chance of winning the game. Rice helped us do this in the reverse fixture and we had the greater amount of goals and got 3 points in total.

Is Albert Sambi playing? He could be our agent, and sabotage the Hatters midfield (since he’s secretly still an Arsenal player), but I’ve also heard he might be ineligible, which means Luton have to play with 10 men.

Does Zinchenko start, and play that inverted role, becoming that extra man in midfield? 12 vs 10 would give us a tremendous advantage, that’s why I think it will end in a draw.

Yeah, Jorginho could do with a breather.

A super tight scedule ahead, Jorgi should be one of the first names to be extra cautious about his playing time and we should be smart about his ā€œfatigue managementā€.

Also a suitable opponent for Partey while he’s regaining his form, he’s obviously a bit off the pace atm.

Although wouldn’t be surprised if we go with our more attacking shape with Rice, Havertz and Ode in the middle.
Martinelli/Trossard Jesus/Trossard Saka up front.
Actually I believe that’s the more likely outcome.

Luckily we have many great options, hard to go wrong any of those. It’s just up to everyone to perform and take Luton as serious as possible.

Think it’ll be a tight scoreline with this game coming just a couple days after the energy sapping encounter with City. And don’t care about how many we score etc as long as we win. Just get the 3 points is all.

This. I think everyone is getting ahead of themselves.

This won’t be an easy match.

Yeah. The guys must be quite exhausted after that 90 minutes against City. And Luton aren’t walkovers either. Can see a 2-1 win for us here.

Tighter than the last time we played them, with a 97th minute winner?

(We lost to Villa the following Saturday, but you catch my drift)

Got a ticket :sunglasses: in the skies but will try squeeze in lower tier lfg

Didn’t know Luton had such a massive crisis with absentees.

Given the situation with Saka, I would probably not risk him either., so instead I’ll go with:
Raya
White-Saliba-Gabriel-Zinchenko
Odegaard-Partey-Rice
Jesus-Havertz-Trossard

Zinny for Kiwior, Partey for Jorginho, Trossard for Saka.

I think Saka is going to start given he trained.

We need a fast start. 2 goals up in 30 minutes. Start making subs after the 55th minute, and relax (at least) Saka and Rice.

Luton have a lot of players out apparently, we are close to full strength. Rack em up. 4 nil.

Damn, quite the list :joy:
