Yea man fokin plastic !
Haha I donât finish work until 7:30 most days! And then by the time I get to the tube etc. itâs usually well past 8
I thought Wenger got it right with the group stages last year tbh
Some of you displaying West Ham/Astra fackinâ Goo Goo levels of arrogance here, hope we donât come unstuck. I think weâll top the group safely enough but wonât be with 18 or even 16 points
Itâs the Europa League group stages, itâs only appropriate to approach it with total confidence.
Drew 0-0 at home with Red Star last season, who to some are probably a bunch of peasant farmers
So?
I donât know what more I can say about what is a straightforward and fairly self-evident point
I donât really see why a 0-0 draw to Red Star means we shouldnât be approaching todayâs game (or the group stage in general) against the third best team in Ukraine with anything other than total confidence.
We didnât get 16 or 18 points in the group stage last year, that doesnât mean we werenât always in total control and qualifying was never in doubt. I think most of us just expect it to be equally comfortable this time round and donât really care if we take 18 out of 18.
While I agree that Wenger got the group stages spot on last year - about the only thing he did right tbh, I feel Emery needs as much game time as possible. Honestly our pre-season looked promising but ultimately meant fuck all as the minute we stepped on the pitch for the first game the team looked like a bunch of players who had never played together before.
Use these groups stages to iron out our technical problems and approach them with a little more freedom and versatility, hopefully through this Emery will cement his formation, decided on his favourites players and finally narrow down who heâs going to cut the fuck loose in January/summer apart from Mustafi.
This is a piss easy game for us. We arenât farkin West Ham
After we won the first three games, easy.
No fucking messing here. 3-0 at half time, 5-0 full time.
We might actually see Torreira start, finally!
Really hope so.
Think thereâs any chance at all of Smith-Rowe being involved?
Yes. Arsenal Twitter mentioned him if we want to see him tonight, I think theyâd only tweet it if he actually is in the squad.
Quite looking forward to it with the Europa League specialist :unai:
I saw him training yesterday so i guess so.
