Arsenal Vs Everton (Premier League) 4-0

Still remember that game very well.

Partey might be starting today. Posted on Insta like he usually does when he plays and Jorginho hasn’t, when he also usually does when he plays.

Edit:

:jorginho:

Not confident about this one. Would like to see us improve upon our performance against the Foxes but somehow am not so confident we’ll be able to break the Everton low block.

I hope am wrong and we continue our winning run.

ffs. worried.

So, the same squad as Everton. They made it like Nelson wasn’t available, lol.

Hopefully Orbinho has to stop rehashing this tweet for the right reason after tonight

Not sure what to expect…
Could be very tough again, but I hope we learned something after the last game, and if we could break them early it could be a quite comfortable game.

Win the battle for the loose balls and this game is completely different and nullifies any threat or hope for them.
We have the better talent. Just needs to work hard.

One goal, ten goals…
Just win the game lads.
I expect a tough game but also a win.

We should be smoking these chumps.

We need to get back to putting shit sides like Everton to the sword, especially at home. We’re not getting over the line in the title race if every match involves chasing a second half winner and/or nervy defending in the last 10 minutes.

36 points 17 places and a + 44 goal difference between the two teams and we are home, what could possibly go wrong?:upside_down_face:

Game kicks off at 3. I have a meeting at 2:45. Gonna need everyone to be brief.

Guilty pleas needed

:rotating_light:No Reiss Nelson in squad for Everton tonight, but Partey is available.

Must be tired after a long day, cos my initial reaction was, “fucking hell, when did we loan Nelson to Everton?!”

Looks like the kind of fixture we should ball out in and boost that goal difference, but it goes without saying that the primary concern is getting the points on the board, and as long as we get all 3, I’m good.

Pretty sure we will.

2-0, Martinelli and Someone else to bag 'em

Haha I did the exact same thing! Even Googled it and then realised what it meant. It’s just written badly, I think.

Either way, Nelson not being in a squad for a PL football match is hardly news.

I changed jobs! I’m doing regulatory work now.

But don’t worry it still involves advising government agencies on disciplinary measures. My clients are already sick of me telling them to relax. But it’s kind of hard to get energized over someone failing to renew a professional license after you’ve seen people go to prison for life.

Absolutely. They fed on the scraps, rebounding balls and turnovers at Goodison.

We win the majority of our duels then they have very, very little to offer. And the subsequent ball domination and pressure we can put on them will eventually tell.

Going to be a completely different match tonight. Everton will be camped in their box and praying that everybody maintains 100% focus and shape.

But as always we need to start with intensity. Slow, lethargic build up will lead to tension and frustration.

Yeah… Tbf we had zero intensity in that first game… Not too hard to improve on that.

If we just perform the way we did for most of the season (outworking the opponent) we shouldn’t have too much trouble, nothing special needed.
