Man why doesn’t my manager give me pep talks before I get another API design documented.

There have been some leaks. Tried to avoid most of them.
Feedback has been good for what is worth.

NFL fans, is this true?

Why is this whole show so cringe?

no, it’s not.

Just desperate people trying hard to put a positive spin on an embarrassing practice that we rarely ever see or hear happening on training grounds

There’s zero correlation between NFL and European football as sports, there are zero transferable ideas in terms of practices or strategies. Crowd noise simulation in the NFL is done as a matter of practical communication for a specific part of the game (when the offense is on). The coach needs to communicate and be able to vocalise actual words to the QB who in turn need to call the play to 10 other guys in the huddle, that’s separate to any QB audibles on the line of scrimmbage from the QB to guys spread out across the field. This has to be done in under 40 seconds hence practice

Plus most of the arsenal squad have played at anfield or better atmospheres before, there’s literally zero practical value in playing their LFC’s walk out music during a training session. We’re not a club in the lower leagues who needs to be acclimatised to the level of noise

:arteta2:

Van Gaal would say the players needed to be horny on the pitch.

Good lord, I couldn’t continue watching after that picture :joy:
I don’t think I would have survived being a footballer even if I had Messi’s skills

Arteta is already a phony, and he’s dialing up the cheese levels to new heights being on an amazon doc. I doubt all managers are this cringe tbh.

I bet stuff like this goes on all the time. When managers try new things.

The only difference is there usually isn’t a camera crew to record it all.

Lower league clubs maybe, top PL clubs? Nah, never seen or heard it before.

It’s not unusual for coaches to factor in atmosphere or crowd reaction at opposing grounds into game planning or squad prep but playing YNWA at a training session to ‘prepare’ your players is amateur level stuff

It’s laughable the way people hype up the Anfield experience, it’s fairly tame compared to places in Europe or South America where noise is sustained before during and after matches

Definitely doesn’t happen then!

That’s just me, provide evidence if it’s so common place at top clubs

Surely there is an anecdote out there from one of the many coaches or players who trained before playing there.

Put cameras in every club, and then you’ll get your evidence that managers are always trying new things.

I’ve heard a bunch of unorthodox training sessions taking place before.
Remember Fergie with the geese? Howe took his out for sheep herding.

What an amateur! :stuck_out_tongue:
