He’s the best striker we can realistically find in the current market imo. Just spend whatever it takes and get this lad in the summer.

I don’t think he is, he’s just the one who’s performing in the same league which is why some favour him over the rest
There’s better value to be had
One thing people forget about Isak is he hasn’t been the most robust, I’m not not convinced he could hold up with the amount of work load our striker has to be able to get through.
Right now he’s essentially been playing a game a week, here having to also compete in the CL etc there’s a very good chance he would tend to break down or at the very least be managed carefully.
Who are better options than him right now in your opinion?
Get Gyokeres.
I want a healthy one and we need a healthy one.
I’d take Gyokeres over Isak for multiple reasons including the fact he’d be cheaper and allow more funds to go towards a winger
Isak for well over £100m isn’t great value tbh, we don’t have unlimited funds

Similar build, similar stride with the ball, pace, technically sound, intelligent, can pass and great finishing.
Not saying he’s as good. There’s allot he would have to do before a comparison like that could be made.
Just aesthetically he’s most similar.
I actually think he is more of a super skinny Zlatan… tricky, skilled, silky, and not a burner, but first few steps are quick.
Henry to me more a powerhouse genius with everything… brains, the looks, the speed and power, and obviously also insane knack for scoring.
Isak would be great, but i don’t see that ever happening now… we should have gone for him a few years ago probably.
Isak two goals against Wolves so far, scored in 8 PL games in a row now, club record, in great form.
Insane talent this lad is, reminds me so much of T.Henry but not as skilful/outworldly.
So basically he’s long and black?

Every striker that fits that profile has to be likened to Henry. It’s just one of the football obligations.
Tbf, he really does play like Thierry unlike every other promising French forward that was called the next Thierry Henry.

They shouldn’t recruit the first two. It sounds like this guy is the one Mikel truly wants, just go big on him.
He can play out wide and up front.
I think chances are very slim but if they don’t get a CL place again and Arteta can do his magic like he did with other targets, you may be able to turn his head and they let him leave for a significant fee(likely PL record).
