Alexander Isak

The rumour is that he’s got a gentleman’s agreement to leave for less than his release clause next summer.

If that is indeed the case, him and his agent are morons.

Unwritten agreement. Can’t think of any reason this could go wrong for us.

True, never seen any examples of that not being honoured, especially recently. :tornado:

Can’t wait to see him in action against us next week

Just offer £40m +£1

Just curious, why don’t you just embed the actual tweet?

Prolly got sent the screenshot by a pal and just stuck it on here instead of finding the actual tweet. That’s what I do anyway.

Only watched the first half and the some of the second half but he was absolutely incredible in that.

This is coming from someone who’s criticised aspects of his game.
Liverpool simply couldn’t handle him. Every time he got on the ball Liverpool were in trouble.

Nice comp of his game.

Don’t forget that some of us have left Twitter so can’t use links to it.

I did it in style by getting my account deleted after I posted an invitation to join Bluesky and accused Elon of being a “Fascist man boy” and “a charisma vacuum”.

Open the link in incognito.

We need one more member for the Sociedad core to be complete

Arteta?

He’s finally got that height of his in good use the past months. His movement has also shifted a lot. He stopped drifting out wide and drop back as much, he is focusing more on being present in the box.

Definitely becoming more of a poacher. Probably why he’s managed to stay fitted now. Doesn’t do as much running as he used to and doesn’t get kicked as much while taking on players.

Have to give him some props for his evolution since coming to England. He’s become an outstanding footballer. A proper killer of a forward.

Seems like he is scoring quite a few headers, today was at least his 3rd of the season from what I’ve seen.

Can’t even put him on a wishlist because he’s beyond our grasp now imo.

Unless he kicks up a fuss about leaving (and so far there have been no reports about him looking elsewhere), he’s probably staying there for a bit.
Rich and ambitious owners. Contract till 2028.
They could’ve crumbled the past summer with their PSR issues but they kept all their big stars.

They’ve now started doing well again. Probably back in the CL next season, perhaps a trophy on the way.

I’ll support Zubat if that happens :+1:
