25/26 Title race šŸ†

Last 10 minutes 1st half and first 25 of the 2nd half give me a bit of hope that we can get results in tough away games unlike previous seasons.

Reporter at the stadium in half-time mentioned how Arteta was up screaming at the players on the 25th minute to push forward.

Arteta’s latest comments about Ƙdegaard having to play it faster forward, and how we responded after Arteta’s shouting and at beginning of 2nd half, for me, it is the players that should receive some blame.

Zubimendi United moment, Martinelli wasted chance, Timber’s wasted pass in the end and many other moments are not manager related issues

In recent tough matches, can’t think of any player that stepped up and won us the game. City and Liverpool in their title winning seasons had players stepping up even when performances were piss poor

Our players need to step it up a notch. I choose to be optimistic that we could get this over the line. Many players in the squad have been under the title chasing pressure last 3 seasons. I want to choose to be confident that they have learned something from that experience and get it over the line this time around

Our attacking line needs a mentality monster like Gabriel and Declan, badly.

This is all fever pitch

We go again…need 3 points against Wolves and then beat Spurs!

7 point lead if we get that over the line with City game in hand.

Hope the Geordie cunts do something at the Etihad. Highly doubt it though. Eddie Howe will lube his players and bend over the same way Marco Silva had his Fulham yesterday

Our fans are so weird lol will happily talk about bottling and then deep throat City who only a couple of games back drew three games in a row and lost another.

It is actually possible to criticise us without slamming a City cock down our throats at the same time.

Well said lol

7 point lead going in the Spurs match is a must…I think City will still drop points but we need to get back to winning. City have tricky games at Leeds and West Ham, plus also have Chelsea (A) too. Need to keep the faith! :folded_hands:

Wonder what the Opta bullshit supercomputer has to say now.

Everything about that match screamed were gonna finish 2nd again, just a horrible performance really.

First 15 mins of 2nd half and maybe last 10 of first half was good, but that aside diabolical.

I can’t help but feel the reason we rarely get underserved wins or late heroics to win games is though we just don’t have the difference makers in the front 4 like the top tier teams in Europe, Barca, Bayern, Real, City or PSG… how many of our front 4 start at those clubs ?

We just rely so much on the collective and everyone has to be at a high level for us to win consistently.

It just feels so hard to accept that Brentford are a tough team away and that a point isnt bad, after Man City beat Liverpool at Anfield, when it mattered.

Semenyo and Guehi have hit the ground running. Man City, from the get go, played some great attacking football against Fulham, as well and finished them off in the first half.

Look at the next four fixtures, its possible we drop more points than City. Our tough games are spuds away and Chelsea at home. Man Citys toughest game is Leeds, away.

I fear man city will just buy the title again.

They drew at home to Brighton, when it mattered. They drew at home to Chelsea in the last seconds, when it mattered.

Everything they do is alpha dog clutch and everything we do is bottling or routine and expected lol

Sounds like a you problem to be fair.

Brentford are quite literally the second most in form team in the PL, only behind Arsenal, and yes ahead of City.

We didn’t lose but our January and February form is concerning. If City win every game, they win the title- in the will of the almighty, they lose one of their next three or four because I’m starting to worry.

Beat City and Spurs and we win the league. Hope the players are reading this.
