I’d hate to see us lose him if we end up actually needing him… i suppose some of this depends on other matters unsettled… I always loved him in old school FM - acquiring at 17 first chance I could, but yeah he is maybe not a top player, i do think he could do well at AFC and seems like he loves the Arse, so can’t hate that.

From the reporting. It looked like Jesus and Tielemans were gonna be our priorities and that btoh deals will be sorted once they were done with the international duties. We followed through on Jesus but not with Tielemans.
Apparently there was an expectation from Youri’s camp that an offer will be made around that time. And according to Ben Jacobs, we’re still in contact with them.
I doubt we tell any target of ours they’re secondary but they can probably put 2+2 together. That’s what Buendia’s camp did. They smelled the bullshit from us and decided to join Villa that was actually keen on getting him.
This has the unmistakable odor of Yann M’Villa. I think we’ll end up missing out/turning our attention elsewhere. He’ll probably sign a year extension and try his luck in the market next summer.

Im not buying this story but I reckon a real estate agent would definitely tell a potential buyer that the seller was moving elsewhere. I’ve called up agents before using numbers printed on their signs and had similar sorts of convos so I don’t think its too ridiculous.
But I do think this story is probably made up lol
He might be relocating simply to stop Brendan from turning up at his house at 3am begging him to stay
