Højbjerg is massively underrated by people and he is one of the leaders at Spurs.
Bentancur is more well rounded than him.
I think there will be competition and we may see all 3 start at games, but I don’t think he’ll start as many games as people expect.

It’s for real. There’s a game against Man Utd at OT I believe which was the perfect example.
Bissouma absolutely bossed it for the first half and a bit. I think Brighton may have had the lead too. Man Utd ended up turning it around and in both goals he was caught slacking.

Club initiated contacts in the winter and had a potential deal in place for him in the summer but they waited to see what happens with Odegaard(and perhaps Madders too) first.
Buendia wasn’t willing to wait for us so he signed with Villa. I guess Tielemans is more keen to join us but if we don’t make a play for him soon he might just decide to join Man Utd and be done with it.
If he was first choice we’d have probably signed him by now.
We’re chasing someone else. Maybe it’s Savic.

That’s my thoughts, Leicester are a willing seller and Tielemans wants to come if the club really wanted him he’d be here for pre season.
I feel like plans changed with the Partey news though. Tielemans price is just too good considering we might have another position to fill.

If I were him I would probably be rather pissed at Edu and Arsenal right now. Feels that we have treated him as the backup plan all summer. Now that we desperately need a CM he could easily say ‘you had your chance(s)’ and fuck off to Utd.

Nor should he have been, he really isn’t anything special so I’m happy the club is aiming higher, despite the likelihood the higher targets won’t land at us.
