There is an FA cup between the clubs if he signed in this time frame. Two top 5 finishes each. A Europa final loss for us and QF in the CL for them.
Nothing in it he will look back on and regret IMO.

True. I think Vardy won’t regret it. But I don’t think that would apply to others.
I think others would prioritize playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, getting international recognition, getting paid more and perhaps having a better chance at winning things.
Mahrez himself said Leicester cost him 2 years of playing at the highest level because they blocked his move to Arsenal.
