Yeah that was a cracking match!

I fucking loved Lucha Underground. :santi:

Nah I’m sorry but it’s just not wrestling to me. If I wanted to watch idiots fight like they haven’t trained to be a pro I’d watch street fights on LiveLeak.

There’s just no art to it at all. Doesn’t tell a story or nothing.

One of WWE’s best evolutions was to eliminate that stuff from its in ring product. I think it looks stupid and massively exposing to the business as well as being ridiculously dangerous for talent.

Who do we think inducts him? Don’t think it’s gonna be one of the ECW guys unless it’s as a group which I’m not sure about.
Thinking Stephanie or Punk personally.

Punk or an ECW guy

Roman is also an interesting shout if they want to incorporate this into a storyline like how they last with Rey and Dom. I’d hope not.

Punk isn’t the right choice given that they may want to do Punk V Roman this year.

I don’t think they’re gonna do Punk/Roman anytime soon personally.
If I recall correctly it was also reported they would take their time with that. I think Rock/Roman will come first. I’m thinking 2024/2025. Could be Roman’s program fro Wrestlemania 42.

I’m interested to see how they handle Roman/Heyman post-WM. I presume Roman is taking significant time off after he puts Cody over.
They’ve planted the seeds for Heyman aligning himself with Bron Breakker.
That’s another interesting feud(Breakker/Reigns) down the line.

I’m still not entirely sure Cody is going over.

You think they’ve done all this with the Cody doing a U-turn without him going over.

Think he would look pretty stupid if it doesn’t happen now.

I’m not sure if that’s a barrier for WWE. I agree it would bury him but I’m not sure that’s the top concern.

I assume if WWE had plans for Roman Vs Rock that Roman was going over there, so it seems to me that they had plans for Roman to go forward as champion from Mania.

I think Rock v Roman are doing the same 50/50 deal like with Rock v Cena.

Edit: Thinking about this more. I dunno how what I said invalidates your assumption. So scratch the above.

Yea WWE have to look at it like if Cody doesn’t go over this year, no one is gonna take him serious anymore. It’ll be the biggest fumble since Lex Luger probably

I agree but that doesn’t mean they don’t do it.

Shinsuke Nakamura could have been one of the biggest stars they’ve ever had if he’d beaten Styles at Mania a few years ago but he ended up in eternal midcard purgatory instead.

I think it’s likely Cody wins, but I doubt very much it’s a 100% lock in WWE management at the moment, and there’s definitely a plan in a draw for what Roman retaining looks like.

Great talent. Check out her match with Alundra Blayze on RAW in 1994 if you get the chance

Just watched Revolution.

Enjoyed Ospreay v Takeshita and also Sting’s last match. Sting really gave it some! It was akin to what Austin did with KO a year back at WM.

All the other matches were a bit meh, including the title match.

Really? I’ve seen people call it the best AEW PPV to date?
Is it the usual overhyping from diehards?

Nah, there have been better.

In the recent past, All In at Wembley, the one where Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson debuted and the CM Punk v Moxley one.

WrestleDream was on par with this one.

The Sting match was honestly very good.

Where would you rank it @Annie85x

I remember All Out 2023 got similarly overhyped, people claimed it was even better than All In yet you’d struggle to remember anything about it now.

Glad you like All Out 2022. It’s actually underrated for me because of what happened after it. Punk v Moxley was probably Moxley’s best match in AEW for me.
