Yes, here’s 8+ hours of him in AEW.

Gonna have to hit up the coffee and monsters soon to have any hope of staying awake for tonight. The shows almost always SLAP, but damn they’re long lol

These WCW guys don’t know how to give it up lol.

Wouldn’t be shocked if they go well over 4 hours.

I can see MJF returning in some capacity tonight.

Maybe even Britt Baker?

Maybe. There’s Jamie Hayter as well. She hasn’t returned, has she?

And then there’s Okada too.

If they play their cards right they may get a million viewers again for the Big Business show.
Don’t think they’ve had a show that broke the million mark since 2022?

Unless they wait for her to return at All In?

That’s a long way away, mind you.

Do you still watch the shows btw?

Stopped a long while ago myself. I keep up with what seems to be happening through my timeline on Twitter but that’s about it.

Only Dynamite, but even that I fast forward large chunks lol

You know full well I’m not watching so much as a second of that :joy:

I wouldn’t mind AEW as much if it wasn’t run by insecure man-children

It had something going for it before it went full WCW I thought.

Revolution was awesome!

Darby almost died (naturally) and Ospreay/Takeshita was amazing - you could practically hear Meltzer spaffing in his pants over some of the shit they did.

Apparently Ospreay injured himself and is a doubt for Dynamite?

That is very on brand for him.

Assuming it was his back on the turnbuckle move… Not surprising haha, it looked horrible! :zinny:

I’ve seen some pics afterwards. He had a chunky piece of glass stuck around his left shoulder blade.

I love Darby but one of these days he’s gonna die doing this shit. Now he’s going away at the end of the month to climb Mount Everest.

It was brutal, he didn’t move for some time and was a little pool of blood when he did finally get up.

Definitely one of those spots where someone needed to say nah that’s too far Darby lol.

Future Dark Side of the Ring episode. I really don’t know what people see in Allin and Moxley, there’s no art or talent behind death match style wrestling at all.

Some of it can be incredible imo. The Swerve/Hangman match last year was amazing and told a great story and some of the AEW plunder matches have been great with the right builds behind them.
They are very guilty though of just throwing in a random gimmick match with blood and questionable spots too often though.

The deathmatch stuff I really don’t like is when it’s just people twatting each other with light tubes without being able to pull off any real moves in-between.
Darby in particular can go in the ring when he’s not trying to wage war on his spine, just wish he’d tone some of it down cause his luck will run out one day.

Last death match I liked was Killshot(Swerve) v Dante Fox:
