Rock Vs Roman is definitely happening but in all likelihood a Wrestlemania is the only fit stage for it so they’ve got at least a year to build it.
In any event, Cody Rhodes isn’t championship “holding” material.
He should drop the title by the next PPV.

Credit where credit is due, I think AEW have done an excellent job with Sting’s retirement.
I expect big PPV numbers from them today and a very good show.
Sting deserves this.
