Vinnie has had every single one of those stars on the right job for him when they’re at the WWE. The disdain he had for them was real. And it didn’t just stop at the top. There was the well documented JR-Marcus “Buff” Bagwell dislike that inexplicably cost the latter his job

anyone finding the Bray Wyatt story a bit slow? It’s been ages and nothing really has happened yet, the build up was better (right now anyway)

Apparently Brian Last(from Cornette’s podcast) called it weeks ago.
Another one for him after his oddly accurate predictions on Cody, Punk, Jericho and others.

He’s made some interesting claims about Omega to be specific over the months. Essentially that Omega is the worst out of them all and once the truth comes out people will find out what a person he is.

With the trajectory of things, I wouldn’t be shocked if that happens soon. I think we should expect quite a few departures in 2023 and people will shed a light on some of the politics going on over there.

I have no doubt in my mind that Brian has some strong inside source at AEW. He often alludes to it and on top of that he gets way too much correct for these to just be wild guesses.

Feels like Brian and Jim doubled down on siding with Punk because they know more about it than most.

Had no idea his health problems were as bad as they were.

A bleed on the brain previously. Goddamn :frowning:

When Punk was in that scrum saying what he said I honestly thought it was a rib. That was the company’s top guy sitting besides the booker and in front of the media validating most of what has come out of Cornette and Last, to a scary accuracy.

I’m not gonna lie, before that I thought Brian and Cornette probably heard a thing or two but they were making a bigger deal out of it. Not anymore.
When you start connecting the dots, and then remember some of the people The Elite were close to like Joey Styles, Marty Scurll and Flip Gordon you truly start wondering what kind of people they truly are.

Pretty sure that’s storyline.

Just imagine the discussions between Tony and Regal.

Plot twist, Regal was the one that gave a black eye to Matt Jackson.

Nothing stays a secret in wrestling. It’ll eventually come out and usually in the most unexpected ways.

Like for example, Pillman Jr. just randomly popping in to set the record straight about some of the rumours(like wrestlers not seeking Regal’s advice) going about but in a way confirming them as well.

Yet more AEW backstage nonsense being played out in public. Can’t believe anyone even bothers reading it anymore. Regal’s well shot of the company. Not much else to say.

Watched Survivor Series War Games last night. Apart from the triple threat and a couple of moments in the men’s main event, a pretty drab event.

On your own with that opinion I think Dave :grinning:

Naaaaaaaaah.

Tbh I was expecting better. Wrestling is a real let down right now. Even the crowd weren’t invested.

What on earth are they doing with Bray?! Where is he?

I think Bray has a lot of creative freedom in what he’s currently doing. I think people forget that as much as he’s capable of brilliance, he is also capable of producing very slow and ponderous storylines that take a long time to go anywhere if they go anywhere at all, and in which he gives these nonsense promos. I’ve always found him a very hit and miss character.

People are very quick to praise him for his successes and blame others when things aren’t going well for him.

Bray is not good enough in the ring and a lot of his work is so nonsensical that I couldn’t justify giving him my time and attention.
