If Punk was negotiating with WWE, he would of absolutely went there because he went on record to say he’d go where the money is and WWE have that sweet Saudi money. I personally think he was just saying that
You do know Tony is pretty rich himself right?
His daddy is yea. That’s how AEW is funded right, a mark with a billionaire dad :wenger2:
I love Punk but he’s becoming the wrestling equivalent of Emi Martinez when it comes to talking about his former employment.
Also, it seems pretty clear that AEW are a bit shook by what’s happened at WWE, presumably because it has the potential to take some of the eyes on their product and bring them back to watching WWE as well. Heard a couple of their company men talking about how nothing is really going to change at WWE now.
People IN AEW are saying if Hunter was in charge when they were there, they never would of left lol what does that say about them. That was absolutely Adam Cole btw I reckon, Hunter loves him
Ehhh Vince was always a businessman before a fan
Yes I read Man-Child’s comments about that earlier, he wasn’t concealing his irritation very well.
I doubt it. Cole is happy playing wrestling with his friends. Do not underestimate that factor. That’s why he joined, not because of AEW or Tony, but because he loves having nonsense spotfests with the Bucks.
But if Triple H wants him. Trust me, he’s free to go as far as I’m concerned. I can actually prep a list of people I think do not fit in AEW at all and would be a better fit in NXT.
Go for it? I’m actually eager to see because I don’t watch AEW as much as you so I’d actually like to see it
This reads like a Spurs fan talking about missing out on Gabriel Jesus
I still think Punk is at the better promotion as it stands.
The better but still tremendously shit promotion.
He’s at the better promotion for him, no doubt. He’d have hated going back to WWE no matter what the money was.
Perhaps. I think give Hunter 6 months to about a year and I’d say he’d have them competing with AEW in terms of good storytelling and wrestling though. May take longer but they’ll catch up
I think for AEW it’s pretty simple
Leave ROH to its own devices. Leave NJPW to its own country.
Focus on the elite group of wrestlers it has and fewer titles. None of this inter-promotional crap. Feels like Austin rounding off ECW One Night Stand when he was actually barely there a year. Just feels wrong.
Ok, I’ll limit it to 10 people.
Preston Vance(mentioned him the other day)
Ricky Starks
Jade Cargill
Britt Baker
Anna Jay
Ethan Page
Brian Cage
Anthony Ogogo
Penelope Ford
Orange Cassidy
I think HHH will disappoint tbh. All fun appealing to niche on NXT. Raw/Smackdown a bit different.
Vince would of loved Brian Cage tbf. Same with Wardlow
