As I said, Willian is a consummate professional who came here to play football and also ensure he received a contract that guaranteed his financial future. Thereās nothing wrong with looking for the best deal for yourself in what is ultimately a very short career.
Willian didnāt live up to expectations but Iāll never agree that he came here just for the money.

Good riddance. Itās was a silly move to begin with. But what I donāt understand is why now? Why not sooner when he had an offer from Miami. Rumours said he wasnāt getting paid enough. Surely it wouldāve been more than what heās gonna get now? Guess he thought heād might get a better offer elsewhere. š¤· Well, at least thatās some money off the payroll. But will we bring any more quality players in? Not looking likely with what little time is left.

Best of luck to him. Didnāt work out but never made a fuss about or spoke out against the club or fans. Heās rich, yes but ultimately heās at the end of his career and giving up on 20m which he was legally contracted to get in order to play football should be respected.
The bigger pricks and problems are still at the club and Willian moving out doesnāt change it. Arteta out.

Came for the money, which is his right, and we were dumb enough to oblige.
Finally some good news, he says that he wanted to win, but that didnāt show up whenever called upon.
Guy is an idiot giving up Ā£20m, I would take all the abuse under the sun and just laugh all the way to bank. Would randomly post semi obscene (within reason) stuff like this 
with out context on Instagram and Snapchat as well just to wind people up.

Will just state gratitude for him doing something that helps out the club, despite an Edu/Arteta mistake with bringing him in (and contract) in the first place.

Finally, we did one thing right this summer. Credit to Willian for doing this. Hope Edu/Arteta have learnt their lesson from this debacle.
