It could not have been more clear what was going on. The only positive spin I saw which made sense at the time was “look when Kia gets his hooks into a club, you have to eat some shit to get access to his better players. Better for Arsenal to take Willian than Coutinho.”

For sure man, there were a few of us (including yourself) so against this signing for a variety of reasons.
Arteta should get much more criticism for bringing him here than he has, shocking decision making. And I don’t want to hear bollocks about not getting rid of dead wood when he’s to blame for a good deal of it.
