Yea makes complete sense that. Could have stayed at Chelsea for two more years but came here for the third year and now after one year doesnā€™t care about the wages. Fuck sake.

Its more likely he wants to leave because of how bad Arteta is. He is a veteran and has played under some of the greats.
I believe the only way we will get top players is by paying way over the odds because nobody who wants to win anything would be interested in playing for a novice coach who has no idea what he is doing.

Thats what I think anyways hence the eerie silence and lack of movement on the transfer front. Yes the club will put in bids but our top targets will just continue to reject us.
