Generational talent. This is arguably the closest ‘like a new signing’ feeling. With our core players tied down, I can’t see us finishing outside the top 3 for a long time now, regardless of what our opposition do in the summer.

That’s how many new contracts sorted out in the past year?
Nketiah, Gabriel, Martinelli, Saka, Ramsdale, Nelson and now Saliba. And they’re also working on tying down Odegaard and White next.
Contract renewals aren’t getting nowhere near the recognition transfers do.
We’re essentially convincing some of the best players we’ve had in a long fucking time that haven’t in reached their fucking peak yet to commit their future here.
It’s big financial commitment from the club which shows their ambition.
Ownership and management deserve huge credit.

Massive news. As with Saka I don’t love the idea of a four year deal but that’s just a detail.
We’ve got the entire group together for the next 3-4 years. Now we need to be killers in the market this summer and add 3-4 big pieces to that group.
