I didn’t but then we bid for him and now I want him at Arsenal with Pepe, Laca and Auba. I wouldn’t want us to overpay for him, and think £60m is his transfer fee ceiling, but really think that Palace will have a very unhappy player on their hands if they don’t sell him now. Plus he clearly wants to come and play for Arsenal and I think he would do everything for the club if he got his move.
Nothing to say he is really that upset at Palace. He hasnt gone sulking or crying to the papers. He made a request after interest was shown.
Dont want or rate him but he has shown no real push to leave, and rightly so on signing that deal.
He has told Palace that he wants to go and he is liking Arsenal signings on social media…he doesn’t want to be at Palace…at the moment he is being professional about it but watch this space…a week is a long time in football.
