That looks like a wonderful trip - I have a few friends who gone on 1-2 day trips to Milan and really enjoyed it but said they wouldn’t stay for much longer
They’re probably right.
Unless you’re into shopping in ridiculously expensive designer stores, which I’m not, it only takes a couple of days to see the main attractions.
It’s also quite expensive and most places to eat were more than London prices.
Had my Stag in Berlin, before flying out to Baku for the final
We loved it, great City, to big to fully take in over a weekend, would definitely go back.
I’ve seen wayyy too many videos of kangaroos squaring up to people I’d be scared I’d be in an impromptu boxing match if I went to Australia
Spending the long weekend in a lodge on a pond in the country.
Watching the wildlife with a book in hand during the day and drinking wine in front of the fire and bbq in the evening. Could get used to this life very easily!
Where abouts in Australia did you go mate ?
Had a great trip down to Cornwall Thurs-Sun for the Sea Shanty festival with trips to Falmouth, St. Agnes and Perranporth.

Just to the Gold Coast for a week. Nice easy holiday for us kiwis but definitely has me thinking about a move there now haha there or Brisbane
Over water bungalow in New Caledonia… sadly shark sightings have banned swimming for time being, other than the resort pool.
I don’t see any sharks in that picture mate
This might just be the best ever beer with a view I’ve had. The Pantheon is just absolutely incredible and awe inspiring.
Was awesome being in New Caledonia for a week, was bizarre going to a place just over 4 hours flight away from Melbourne that had a touch of the European flavour, obviously due to that French influence.
I did about 2 weeks in Houston and had probably the best holiday I’ve ever had. Loved it so much over there I would live there for a year or so if I could.
Aside from the fact that people can’t drive, I didn’t have a bad thing to say about it. I‘m already planning my next trip lol
Yeah spewing when I did the states I only got some west coast, east coast, Chicago and Vegas.
Didn’t see any of Texas, but hard in such a big country on a 30 day timeline.
Yeah and the thing is there’s so much to do in the States that you could easily spend a lot of time just in one place. Me and my friends wanna go back to Houston for a month later in the year we had that much fun. But defo wanna take some domestic flights when they’re to a couple of other states.
I did New Orleans for a couple days and the food was amazing.
I think America is a fantastic place to visit for holiday, but in the long run it’s really not a great place to live.
America is a country built solely with utilitarianism in mind and it really really shows, especially once you’re outside the downtown areas of the cities.
Want to got on the gym? 15-30 minute drive. Want to go to the cinema? 15-30 minute drive. Want a snack? 15-30 minute drive. Need some last minute groceries? 15-30 minute drive.
Not to mention that EVERYTHING is in some soulless strip-mall next to an 8 lane highway. I find the architecture in America to often be very boring and utilitarian as well, and then when you throw that in with the often very regressive politics and I feel like it’s a place I prefer to visit on holiday.
I love the US and it is a stunning country in so many ways, and I really like Americans as they’re incredibly welcoming, friendly and hospitable but if you’re not rich it’s not a fun country to live in.
