Stock photo or did you go on a tour bus?

We did the full tourist thing this weekend as my mate has never been to London.

Proper hop-on hop-off bus experience. With terrible earphones and horrible narration.

From one of the coolest places on earth, we’re basking in the 27-30 range. The downside is all the forest fires which, althogh hundreds of miles away, are giving us lousy air quality.

It’s quite nice here on the Amalfi coast, the locals really like it when you shout Forza Napoli

Looked at going to Naples just to shout that and join in the celebrations :joy:

Prices were ridiculous though.

Haha yeah I was at a wedding last night and massively got in with the waiters by saying they the whole night.

They started taking me around to all of the other staff that were Juventus fans and had me say it which was pretty entertaining - even more so when I said “Forza Napoli! No Juve - calciopoli”

The pour was heavy on my drinks haha

July: ATL>LHR

AB&B booked at a location you’ve probably never heard of: Upper Dicker.

Just got back from Florida, holy shit it was hot down there. Tons of Brits with little kids which kind of surprised me because I assumed school was still in session but I guess if you’ve got a chance to hit up Disney World you’ll pull your kid out a few weeks early. Sadly I did not run into Danny Dyer (who I shared a swimming pool with a few years ago when he was staying at the same hotel as my partner and I).

It’s half term here this week, so people probably went away a bit early to avoid the stupid costs during holiday time.

People often go on holiday during term time because the cost outside of term time is ridiculous. You’re looking at over double the price sometimes. Which is a lot more than the £100 fine they may or may not get from the school.

Also, Danny Dyer’s daughter just had twins with Jarrod Bowen, so he’s been a little too occupied for DisneyWorld

That is the most Danny Dyer thing ever.

Wait till you hear what her name is.

Isn’t it Danni Dyer lol

Just spent a few days in Milan, I’ve been to quite a few European cities but haven’t been here before. They certainly know how to do architecture.

The Milan version of Lakeside. :grinning:

Did a day trip to Switzerland on one of the highest railways in Europe, to St Moritz.

Obviously had to go to the San Siro.

They had this full sized picture of a donkey near the exit, not sure why. :grinning:

Did Milan a few years back for the Italian F1, I really enjoyed it, it’s touristy as fuck but didn’t have that overly touristy feel about it. The food was amazing and ate in some incredible place.

I wasn’t that fussed about Milan. Been to quite a lot of places in Italy, and that’s probably my least favourite.

Mind you, I wasn’t greeted by a life size picture of Giroud. That would have given it several extra points

Have returned from Cologne amazed by how beautiful the City is and the quality of infrastructure. A lot of Germany seems like this from the limited experience I have of Hamburg, Nurenburg and Stuttgart. How clean the City was also stood out.

Lukas Podolski having a fast food franchise really threw me off though!

I often wonder what tourists really think about England.

Koln is a lovely city, would definitely recommend going around Christmas time when the Christmas markets are going.

My summer holiday this year will be visiting the Isle of Wight. Didn’t feel brave enough to get my baby on a plane to go and visit my dad and step mum in Corfu lol
