Anyone who cant appreciate Red Dead is a douche
Not played it yet bro. But if youâre a fan of the previous two, then 3 is a must.
Might pick it up tomorrow man. Itâs only ÂŁ29.99 in Argos
Thatâs a very well structured argument, Iâd honestly never thought of it that way before.
If the dialogue in the game was as multi dimensional as that zinger I might have stuck with it.
Really want to buy a Switch but just canât justify it, there arenât anywhere near enough titles I genuinely want to justify it.
I think Iâd also definitely want the one that works in conjunction with the TV too, but unfortunately thatâs significantly more expensive.
Who needs a Switch to distract you from the nightmare of the daily London commute when you have a subscription to The Athletic.
Due to feeling that the Switch would be far too big an extravagance, I picked up a PS Vita in excellent nick for seventy quid recently. Iâve always loved handheld gaming and felt that this looked like a good bit of kit, even if it totally bombed. Gives me a chance to play some games like Uncharted and God of War, which Iâve missed out on due to being an Xbox player.
Theyâve also got a really good selection of old games on the PS Store, from the PSP and PSone days. Picked up this absolute game for under two quid last night, canât begin to describe the glorious wave of nostalgia that hit me before the game had even properly started
Great system make sure you pick up the metel gear collection well worth replaying mgs2 an 3 on vita
Iâve just started Witcher 3 today. Iâve just done the Devil by the Well quest where you have to defeat the noonwraith and burn her mortal remains.
I only got a measly 22 coins for it, and looking at my already growing inventory of crafting and alchemy items, I could make way more than that by selling even just a couple of items. Is it worth selling any of these early on to get more money, or am I better off saving the stuff Iâve been looting thus far.
Whatâs the best general strategy and set of priorities when you firdt start out in this game?
Make sure you play Gwent unlike that fraud Sol.
I donât know what this means but I will keep an eye out for Gwent and remember to play it
Donât buy weapons or armour, focus on Witcher gear, except the wolf armour because it has the most annoying visual ever.
Gwentâs actually the main game all the monster hunting and searching for your adopted daughter is just filler.
I had this exact same issue early on. Pick up as many weapons/armour from dead folks and sell those to the blacksmith/armourer respectively.
Money is only an issue at the beginning tbh. Your gear will be mad mismatched, but sell everything you donât use. Youâll only want to use and craft the main witcher gear like Feline / Bear / Griffin etc. I just spent all my money on getting those.
Just do as many contracts as you can, and treasure hunts. Clear White Orchard and Velen in that order and youâll be good.
P.S. Gwent is for Gwankers. Real witchers spend their time in the Novigrad whorehouse @Castiel
Oh yeh I remember Novigrad, thatâs where the biggest Gwent tournament occurs. Who needs thots when you got all that going on.
In the fucking whorehouse as well
@Sol you missed out.
@JakeyBoy yeah what everyone above said. Donât buy any weapons or armour, you get given the highest quality shit as you go through the game anyways.
No point selling any of the crafting stuff, youâll need that to make the best armours and weapons.
The only armour to use is the Witcher gear and the best relics.
Donât worry about money, just sell any swords or armour you pick up from dead bodies.
Exactly, but who cares about that when youâre busy going full on motherfucking Yugioh on bitches.
What was your go to deck?
Northern was quality, and the one I won most games with, but my Nilfgaard deck got pretty unreal towards the end too.
Monsters is meant to be good but I never really clicked with it.
Ah, I want to play the Witcher again now. 3rd play through incoming.
