With your snobby taste in films it is mad that you seem to love Bond so much
Ah, the one who Sean slaps in the train. Still a scene that makes me shudder a little.
Not fair. I watch a lot of non- ‘snobby’ too, I just don’t broadcast it.
I really liked Licence to Kill. Timothy Dalton was a great James Bond. Shits on Pierce Brosnan.
Casino Royale is the best bond film ever imo
The book’s better. It was grittier
Imo it’s right up there. Last half hour or so drags a bit though. Could do with being a touch shorter. Holds it back a little bit.
agreed. everything after the balls torture scene is a bit soppy and draggy.
I’ve always quite liked The World is Not Enough. Had the game on PS1 back in the day :bellend:
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
From Russia With Love
The Man With The Golden Gun
Goldeneye
Casino Royale
Top 5 in no order.
The book ends perfectly with Bond saying “the bitch is dead”.
In the film, he says this on the boat. But then it drags on…
It’s generally put up there with the worst of the entire series. However, I have a soft spot for it because I watched it a billion times as a kid.
I always liked Dr No and Goldfinger too. (quelle surprise, cocky scot likes films with cocky scot)
Live and Let Die
Goldfinger
The Man with the Golden Gun
You Only Live Twice
Diamonds Are Forever
In that order
I mean there are SO many Bond films that it’s understandable why it’s not so highly rated when you have the Connery and Moore era of films to contend with.
I think the worst Bond film is Die another day. Terrible plot, over the top graphics, everything just seemed poor and not very Bond like.
The one before that was even worse, I can’t even remember the name lol
The one where some russian satelite gets attacked at the start iirc
all the bond films are crap…yeah i said it, they are shit!
Is that the one where he’s chasing that bird with the great rack on a speedboat and they climb onto the millennium dome?
