What was the last film you watched?

I really feel like I wasted 2 hours of my life :arteta:

I just didn’t get it. Self-indulgent, strange monologues that weren’t interesting. I get that it’s supposed to reflect the monotony of his work, but it was such a slog for me. I was bored as fuck basically.

lol, I suppose this is the risk you take when you try to tell people how they’ll likely feel about a film.

Had a slow work free day and watched Indestructibles 4. So bad. I mean, the first movie had its quirks and comedic moments. This was just a train wreck. Predictable plot, bad acting (more bad than usual for this franchise), low budget effects.
1/5 Stepanovs.

Haven’t seen Napoleon yet but genuinely interested in watching it. I have two of Ridley’s films in my all time top five so I generally like his films. Napoleon is an interesting one though. Kubrick was planning a Napoleon film for ages but it never happened. I wonder whether the subject matter is simply too much for a single film. This is probably where a high budget TV series would give greater scope to do it justice.

The Pale Blue Eye.

It were alright. Dudley was a great lad in it.

It sounds like you found John Goodman’s performance interesting! He’s a versatile actor who can portray a wide range of characters. It seems like in this particular role, he played a convincing “bad guy.” The complexity and depth he brings to his characters often make for engaging performances. If there’s more you’d like to share about the movie or Goodman’s role, feel free to elaborate!

Finally watched The Killer. Not so bad but it feels too polished, if that even makes sense. Gatuso.gif

Has anyone seen all of the leading films?

These odds are a travesty

Cillian Murphy is just the lead actor in a highly rated film. His performance is not Oscar worthy. And Bradley Cooper? Fuck off.

Leo does not do bad films, but is constantly over looked for this shit.

Saw Maestro recently. I think it’s available on Netflix now actually. Didn’t enjoy. It’s a Bradley Cooper vanity project (he directs the film too). Would rather give the award to Ryan Gosling for Barbie!

I thought Cillian Murphy waa pretty good. The rest i haven’t seen. Also the Oscars don’t matter.

Leo doesn’t do bad films, agreed there.

I recently watched the new Sandra Bullock film on Netflix, worth a watch. I like the idea, although I’m not one of these that likes an ending that leaves you guessing, it like it confirmed

Donnie Brasco.

I will now be referring to all currency related matters in fazools and fazools only.

Thought Cillian Murphy was excellent actually. Glad to see he’s the favourite.

Leo was great too, as always. Didn’t watch the others.

Wow. This Rebel Moon really is some dog shit.

Erm so you think Cillian is a better actor than Leo?

It’s fucking shit. Where I work we have to suck up to Zack Snyder.

Cillian isn’t a bad actor but Oppenheimer was a a shit film.

Killers of the Flower Moon wasn’t all that good, either, but on acting performance in those two standalone films, Leo pips it.

All I need to read. The Oscars people haven’t heard this though.

Bradley Cooper being second fave for awards is infuriating. Such an insult to Leo.
