So you cooked up a story and dropped the six of us in a meat grinder.

So many great lines

Mavrick.
Never buy into hype or recency bias on watching films.
I did on this one and man do I realise why I don’t.
Absolutely painstaking bollocks.
Safe as fuck watching and acting and totally contrived plot. Hated it.

Oh man
This is the first negative ive heard about this film

Very surprised as im usually the same with film hype, but I thought this one was absolutely brilliant
Amazing we can both watch the same film, and one of us loved it and the other hated it!

If they were flying spitfires and trying to bomb the eagle’s nest then we’d be on to a winner I reckon

Lucky Number Slevin.

Feels like a film that nobody ever talks about but it really is great fun.

Hocus Pocus 2. Haters gonna hate, but I loved it. Much funnier than the first.

Blonde

Artsy, vivid, but ultimately bullshit.

2/10

Ana de Armas nude scenes any good at least?

She plays the character well and that gives it a 2. Other than that, the film can get in the bin.

Help. About the early days of the pandemic from the point of view of a young care home assistant in Liverpool. Jodie Comer and Stephen Graham. Really paints a picture although I can’t imagine it gets anything close to portraying how the people in that situation must have felt. Worth a watch, but it’s not an easy one.

Figo - very well done.

I wasn’t old enough to know what was going on at the time, is it an accurate take on events?

What is clear to see is, Perez is a crook haha. He played everyone with some 4D chess.

Absolutely brilliant film, had me hooked all the way through.
Love a film based on a true story and I think it was done brilliantly!

The wife and I have just been to the cinema to see that film ā€˜Suffragette’.

Two hours of a woman’s struggle… full of tears, aggression, sadness, anger and frustration…

Anyway, after she finally managed to park the car, we rushed in and caught the end credits.

OMG you’ve never watched Predator before?!?!?! Absolute classic and one of my faves! Agree with @DavidHillier that you should give Predator 2 a watch. Not in the same league as the first but worth a watch and then skip all the rest.

What else haven’t you seen? Have you watched the Alien films? As you can tell from my profile, I’m a big fan!
