I cant believe I never really knew about the Woodstock 99 story
Its a huge fuck up from those running it, trying to cash in on the name and the youngsters who went there. What a tragic ending to what should have been a brilliant few days!
The Figo one is a weird one, I cant put my finger on who I blame for the move. At first it seems like he is pushed into it by Futre and his agent and wanted to stay at Barca, but I think deep down he wanted more money from Barca and then that never came he went looking elsewhere.
I have a little feeling he did want to stay at Barca.
Think it ended up going to far and he had to move but I dont believe deep down thats what he wanted.
Blue Lights. Didn’t expect much off this but was surprisingly better than expected.
Set in a police station in Belfast characters and storyline goes at a good pace.
6 one hour episodes. @Calum you might like this.
I usually don’t like made up things but thought it was alright. Its not must watch though. Watched ep 1 a good few weeks ago. Then went back to it last week just to finish it.
Season 1 ended on a pretty decent cliffhanger for season 2.
Needed something new to watch on the train to work, so downloaded the BBC Brinksmat Gold drama on the iPlayer.
Most of the way through episode 1 and its a great start, looking forward to watching more
Really, really good series overall. It’s a funny concept because you find yourself rooting for Saul throughout however, you know he’s a con artist at heart who has a negative impact on people’s lives.
I found the ending, the last few episodes, to drag but I understand they probably needed to wrap it up. It felt very fast paced with Lalo and that whole saga and then I felt the handbrake slow things way down to address how it kind of ends. Weird.
You have to have balls to go on a show like that, especially given the harsh and cold climate and high winds which are not necessarily conducive to your nether regions.
I watched a couple of episodes and it surprised me how many people were willing to get completely naked for the chance to win £5K. You would think most people would want a lot more money to get naked on TV, but who knows maybe they liked the idea of it. Survival bit was interesting, and suppose it was good in terms of body positivity.
I think Channel 4 clearly have a quota of shows after 9pm where people need to be naked.
